There is a breath of fresh air at Garrels Optik+Akustik, the family business in the heart of Aurich, Germany. The business premises were professionally redesigned by interior designer Christian Frey from ‘Harders Licht – Elektro - Wohnideen’. Within a few weeks, the shop was given a new look.
The different sales areas for optical and acoustic services also place different demands on the flooring. The client and architect chose a design floor covering from the EXPONA COMMERCIAL collection – Tan Cement – for the optical area and a modern carpet from EXPONA SIMPLAY Carpets for the acoustic services zone. The two floor coverings harmonise perfectly and blend in beautifully with the light colour scheme of the entire shop concept.
‘Renovating the optician and hearing aid audiologist shop was an exciting challenge. We designed a salesroom that shows the products in their best light while creating an inviting atmosphere – a place that offers a harmonious shopping experience and inspires customers.’
Christian Frey
The new flooring gives the shop a modern, warm and inviting ambience. Both floor coverings impress with their special product advantages: design floor coverings are hard-wearing, easy to clean and durable. Carpet floor coverings improve room acoustics, increase walking comfort and are also robust and easy to clean. The floor covering thus ensures the best conditions for work.
The floor coverings from the EXPONA COMMERCIAL collections are certified with Indoor Air Comfort Gold, and the selected carpet is made from ECOnyl yarn, which stands for sustainable recycling.
This means that many customers will continue to enjoy a shopping experience in a feel-good atmosphere at their trusted optician and acoustician in the future.
