Resilient design flooring offers many advantages. Above all, however, it offers possibilities. This applies equally from both an aesthetic and a practical perspective. Whether you’re looking to quickly upgrade an existing floor, carry out a renovation or fit flooring in a new build – there’s a solution for every project in our modern collections, each offering a different yet always suitable installation option.
Full-adhesive installation is ideal for high-traffic or temperature-sensitive areas and is usually carried out as part of a new build. Thanks to the permanent bond with the subfloor, this installation method offers a stable solution for a wide range of design layouts.
It is important – for example, when installing our EXPONA DESIGN, EXPONA COMMERCIAL, EXPONA DOMESTIC and EXPONA LIVING design collections – to prepare the subfloor carefully.
A fully bonded installation is not suitable for every project. Click-lock flooring is the perfect choice for renovation projects, as it can be laid directly over existing flooring. Whether you want to preserve the existing subfloor, improve impact sound insulation or simply carry out a quick renovation, flooring systems such as EXPONA CLIC 19dB guarantee precise and simple installation using click joints. Under the right conditions, this method can be used for direct installation over tiles. No additional underlay is required, as this is already integrated into the back of the tiles and firmly bonded to the product.
Self-laying design flooring makes it easy to upgrade existing subfloors and give rooms a new look without having to rip up the old floor.
The planks and tiles in our EXPONA SIMPLAY collection can be laid easily, cleanly and without adhesive; they can be replaced if necessary and even removed without leaving any residue. The loose-lay method is the quickest installation system on the market and is ideal, for example, when floors in rented properties need to be restored to their original condition after tenants have moved out.
