The Italian café-ristorante ‘Castelletto’ can now also be found right on the bustling main square in Schwechat, Austria. True to the company’s motto, the aim is to bring ‘passione italiana’ to life.

Guests at Castelletto are meant to feel right at home. In this family-run gelateria and restaurant, the motto ‘la Dolce Vita’ is brought to life through the homemade Italian specialities and the atmosphere. As well as over 30 flavours of ice cream and Italian coffee specialities, Castelletto offers a diverse culinary selection. The Italian way of life is also reflected in the décor.

Established stylistic elements, such as the wooden wall panelling and the striking large, round light circles, were incorporated into the interior design by the commissioned firm Derenko from Vienna and further developed with new components. Exposed brick walls and the beautiful pizza oven, centrally positioned in the heart of the restaurant, convey a sense of Italian tradition and well-being. The designer flooring chosen by the interior designer, featuring a classic wood-effect finish, provides the perfect foundation for the interior concept. The authentic oak planks in amber tones from the EXPONA COMMERCIAL collection were laid in a herringbone pattern.
