For over a century, the Booths have prided themselves on providing an outstanding shopping experience. When the established chain was looking for the ideal flooring for the refurbishment of its Clitheroe store, objectflor met their requirements with equally outstanding customer service.

As with previous stores, the design brief was to create a warm and welcoming environment using a carefully selected collection of floor coverings. Overall, the flooring had to be resistant to heavy foot traffic and the use of shopping trolleys, as well as being easy to maintain and cost-effective over a large area. In addition, a wide range of colours and designs were required, which were immediately available and fully stocked.

Harmonious design for different areas

The planks from the EXPONA COMMERCIAL collection, selected for the main sales area in Everglade Oak design provide warmth and texture across a large area while complementing our existing range of materials. In the wine and spirits department, Versailles tiles from the same series highlight the area, creating a traditional wine cellar aesthetic and continuing the colour scheme of the salesroom. They were relatively easy to install, which helped to keep this project on schedule. 

In the café, EXPONA COMMERCIAL Dark Classic Oak was used to create a herringbone pattern that contrasts nicely with the main business area.

Creative details for a special ambience

The custom-made waterjet logo, made from EXPONA COMMERCIAL Silica Micro Terrazzo and French Vanilla Oak, pays tribute to Booths' heritage.

A result that impresses

After the renovation, the Clitheroe store was given a fresh new look that proudly reflects the company's long tradition.
