Light as a theme
" The flooring defines the character of the rooms, which are individually and tastefully furnished. "
The name of the Dutch hotel, Zeeuws Licht, says it all. Here, everything revolves around sunshine and bright, welcoming rooms. The designers found the perfect flooring in a light concrete-effect design from the EXPONA DOMESTIC collection by objectflor.
The 4-star Hotel Zeeuws Licht is situated in the Dutch seaside resort of Dishoek, at the foot of the dunes. The town, situated on the Walcheren peninsula, is renowned for its beautiful beaches, which are surrounded by woodland. Here, visitors can enjoy beach life, go for walks and explore the surrounding area on cycle rides. The beautiful light in this part of the Zeeland coast was a magnet for famous painters at the start of the 20th century. That is why the three buildings, which house the luxurious rooms, suites and apartments, are named after painters: Chabot, Mondrian and Toorop. Thanks to the hotel’s design, with its many gables, it blends harmoniously into the landscape.
Concrete-effect flooring with a basalt stone texture
All the hotel’s rooms, suites and apartments are fitted with EXPONA DOMESTIC design floor coverings. The elegant concrete-look ‘Ivory Concrete’ (5866) covers an area of 2,525 square metres. The flooring defines the character of the rooms, which are individually and luxuriously furnished. As this flooring is one of EXPONA DOMESTIC’s bestsellers, it has naturally found its place in the collection launched in early 2023. A hallmark of the design floor coverings from this renowned objectflor brand is their very matt finish, the embossed textures that complement the design, and the bevelled edges.
EXPONA DOMESTIC also sets standards in terms of quality: the flooring, manufactured using the hot-press process, is particularly dimensionally stable, as the decorative layers remain flat throughout the entire manufacturing process and are pressed without tension. The PUR finish makes EXPONA DOMESTIC particularly hard-wearing and offers reliable protection.
For comfort in hotels such as the charming Hotel Zeeuws Licht, it is particularly important that EXPONA DOMESTIC design floor coverings are warm underfoot, promote a healthy living environment, and are durable and easy to maintain.
