Since November 2021, indoor skydiving has also been available in Viernheim. Beginners, recreational athletes and professional sportspeople all have the opportunity to experience the unique sensation of free flight for themselves. The success of Germany’s first indoor skydiving wind tunnel, which opened in Bottrop, provided the impetus for this new wind tunnel in Viernheim. In the glass-enclosed flight chamber of the high-tech wind tunnel, participants experience the incomparable sensation of free flight first-hand. With air speeds of up to 250 km/h in the tunnel, freefall is simulated just as it would be during a real parachute jump from a height of up to 4,000 metres.

The oak planks make a statement in the room with their striking interplay of colours.
Roland Träger of Träger Architekten in Viernheim chose this design flooring for this reason, and because “the EXPONA COMMERCIAL collection meets all the requirements for this project and is perfectly suited for use in commercial settings”.
For over 10 years, the EXPONA COMMERCIAL collection has been synonymous with distinctive designs – engineered for commercial properties subject to heavy wear and tear. The authentic wood finishes are characterised by special embossing and a robust surface.

Low emissions, tested and certified

In addition to its installation properties and technical product characteristics, EXPONA COMMERCIAL meets defined emission requirements. The flooring is certified with the ‘Indoor Air Comfort Gold’ label. This certification confirms compliance with specified requirements regarding the product’s VOC emissions.

Furthermore, EXPONA COMMERCIAL’s design floor coverings are suitable for recycling processes. The specific recycling options and, where applicable, the use of recycled material in new production depend on the product and process and should be specified in the relevant product and environmental documentation.
