POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR is a high-quality, resilient loose-lay floor covering designed for adhesive-free installation. It has been developed to enable the quick and easy refurbishment of large areas: the QuickLay installation method eliminates the need for full-surface adhesive application, minimising disruption and downtime. Once the floor seams have been welded, the flooring can be walked on the very same day.
The collection meets the requirements of European traffic classes 34 and 42 and is therefore suitable for areas subject to heavy wear and tear. POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR is manufactured in the UK and is the practical solution for contractors and designers alike.
What makes POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR so special?
As a loose-lay flooring system, the new collection opens up entirely new design possibilities for planners and fitters.
The specially developed dimpled embossing on the underside of POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR acts as a barrier, allowing moisture to escape from the subfloor and enabling installation on subfloors with elevated residual moisture levels.*
Thanks to the embossed backing technology, the flooring can also be laid over many existing subfloors. The special QUICKLAY adhesive tape secures the flooring in place.
POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR sets new standards for the installation of sheet flooring. The effort required for subfloor preparation is significantly reduced, as the embossed backing allows moisture to be drawn away from the subfloor.
POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR can be laid directly onto existing floor coverings without the need to apply adhesive and without requiring a separate moisture barrier.
How does the installation work?
POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR is fixed in place using a moisture-resistant, double-sided adhesive tape. As there is no need to apply adhesive over the entire surface, no drying or curing time is required.
The QUICKLAY adhesive tape is applied along the edge of the room and beneath all seams and doorways.
The self-laying rolls are available in dimensions of 2 m x 20 m, including QUICKLAY adhesive tape.
Design and colour scheme
The colour palette was developed based on seven key colour groups, including cool and warm shades of beige, cool and warm shades of grey, natural shades of blue, shades of green, and shades of pink and lilac. The POLYFLOR GEOTONE QUICKLAY PUR range comprises subtle pastel shades reminiscent of natural materials and pale-coloured pebbles.
Each colour consists of various shades of a single colour. Across the surface, this creates a monochrome overall appearance with no visible joints, whilst a structured or mottled surface texture can be seen up close.
The coordinated colour palette was selected specifically for its strong associations with the health and care sector and offers a range of colours that stand out well on their own but can also be combined to create either a harmonious contrast or a complementary effect within a design concept.
