EXPONA FLOW at the ‘Das Sieben’ health resort in Tyrol

At the Tyrolean health resort ‘Das Sieben’, the treatment and therapy rooms have been designed with a concrete-effect finish from objectflor. The EXPONA FLOW design flooring complements the resort’s modern design concept.

In Bad Häring, Tyrol’s only spa resort, the ‘Das Sieben’ health resort, with its 116 rooms, offers a setting for relaxation and a range of health and therapy programmes. The 4-star hotel complements the services offered by the Bad Häring spa centre. Designed by the architectural practice Michael Stöckl from Westendorf, the hotel is based on seven elements centred on wellbeing and health. The treatment and consultation rooms, as well as the fitness area, covering just under 1,000 square metres, have been fitted with a concrete-effect flooring from the EXPONA FLOW collection by objectflor.

Concrete-effect flooring for large areas

To complement the modern interior design, the planners chose the EXPONA FLOW ‘Dark Grey Concrete’ design (item no. 9857). The surface combines various shades of grey and anthracite, thereby echoing the look of concrete. EXPONA FLOW is available as a design floor covering in rolls two metres wide and 20 metres long. The large-format design allows for a largely seamless layout of the surfaces, with a correspondingly reduced number of joints and welded seams.

The floor covering has a wear layer of 0.7 millimetres and a PUR surface finish. These product characteristics facilitate cleaning and maintenance during day-to-day use. For use in therapy and treatment rooms, the relevant technical requirements regarding installation, welding and cleaning must be taken into account.

With its concrete-effect finish, EXPONA FLOW blends seamlessly into the modern design concept of the health resort and complements the clean, understated atmosphere of the rooms.
