The RIPE NCC (Network Coordination Centre) in Amsterdam is a Regional Internet Registry (RIR) that provides its members with global Internet resources and related services. More than 15,000 organisations from Europe, the Middle East and Asia rely on this expertise.
Staff from 38 countries work at RIPE NCC. This aspect was to be given particular consideration during the construction of the new office premises. The architectural practice HEYLIGERS design+projects was commissioned – from the design stage through to implementation and completion.
The result is a colourful, winding path through all the floors. As colourful as the different nations and like a journey across the continents. Thanks to open-plan layouts, plenty of glass and a central staircase, all departments are interconnected.

Rubber floor coverings are based on natural or synthetic rubber. The specific composition and the raw materials used depend on the product.
The ARTIGO ND/UNI collection has been awarded the ‘Indoor Air Comfort Gold’ label. This certification confirms compliance with defined requirements regarding the products’ VOC emissions.
Furthermore, the entire ARTIGO MULTIFLOOR ND UNI collection is Cradle to Cradle® certified. The certification assesses defined criteria relating to the products and their materials with regard to the requirements for material cycles.
This means that, in addition to the technical product properties, verified information on selected emission and material criteria is also available for the collection.
