Responsibility at every stage

Within the scope of our sustainability strategy, we would like to do more than “just” make our own products fit for the future. This is why we are involved in numerous working groups throughout the whole industry in order to further promote the definition of binding framework conditions for sustainable building, together with other responsible companies. Amongst other things, we are an active member of the German Sustainable Building Council and are active in numerous other industry associations.

Our extensive interpretation of the subject – which also goes far beyond the product level – is demonstrated by some of our activities in a wide range of different areas in the company:

· development of durable products (long useful life)
· reduction of emissions in indoor air
· introduction of sustainable logistics solutions
· converting the energy supply to sustainable energy sources
· consistent use of particularly environmentally friendly models in our fleet of cars
· recycling and re-use of products
· social responsibility in relation to employees
· promotion of  basic and further training
· continually growing commitment to social sponsoring
· promotion of employee health
